A taste of Valpolicella amidst panoramas and tradition

A package dedicated to discovering Verona, Valpolicella and its wines, including three nights at an Agriturismo in the hills of Valpolicella Classica.

Day 1
In the morning arrival at the Agriturismo, welcome and accommodation of guests, who will be served a welcome aperitif and the programme of the stay
.

In the afternoon at 14.00 meeting with the guide, pick up and departure on the private tour ‘Un
assaggio di Valpolicella’ . Driving along the Valpolicella wine road, which offers
splendid views of the vineyards, you will visit the village of San Giorgio Ingannapoltron or the
sanctuary of Santa Maria Valverde. This will be followed by a visit and tasting of the Doc and Docg wines
accompanied by a ‘tagliere’ at a wine cellar.
Free evening and overnight stay at an agriturismo.

Day 2
Breakfast at the Agriturismo and at 9 a.m. meet your guide, pick up and departure on the
private ‘Food and Wine in Valpolicella’ tour. Driving along the Valpolicella wine road,
which offers splendid views of the vineyards, you will reach the Lessinia Natural Park, where
you will visit a producer of cured meats and cheeses who will offer you a tasting of the best
products accompanied by a bottle of wine. You will then reach a trattoria in the
heart of Valpolicella where you will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch. This will be followed by
visit and tasting of Doc and Docg wines at a wine cellar.
At the end of the tour, return to the Agriturismo, free evening and overnight stay.

Day 3
Breakfast at the Agriturismo.
Meeting in Verona and meeting with an authorised tour guide at the PaguStore. At 9.30 a.m.
departure for the private tour ‘Walk and taste Verona’, a walking tour to discover the
heart of the city of Romeo and Juliet. You will visit the most famous squares and streets of Verona,
such as Piazza Bra, Via Mazzini, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Juliet's balcony and
many other wonderful places. During the walk your guide will introduce you to the history of
the city. He will describe churches, palaces, Roman remains and monuments that you will find along the way.
Then we will return to the Pagus Store where we will taste local wines accompanied by
local products.
Free afternoon in Verona and dinner in a traditional osteria in the centre.

Day 4
Breakfast at the Agriturismo, check out and delivery of the Veronacard for the visit of the
museums valid for the day.
