Azienda Agricola Paolo Cottini

AN ENCHANTED PLACE

The company was born in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, and precisely in Castelrotto, a small medieval village in the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano, located as the summit of a hill.

"Paolo Cottini" is the name with which Paolo and Sara wanted to graft their personal identity to the wines they produce.
The company is a new winemaking reality but Paolo Cottini's family has been linked to this passion for years; this is in fact the third generation involved, with dad Silvano to transmit to Paolo the art of producing quality wine.

The company was born in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, and precisely in Castelrotto, a small medieval village in the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano, located as the summit of a hill. The castle, which gives rise to the name, has disappeared but the wall that remains of it at the highest point of the hill is a combination of royal dignity and testimony of the military function.

The vineyards are located in two areas of historic Valpolicella, in Negrar, in the Ca' del Gallo area, at an altitude of around 580 meters. with south-west exposure, and in Valgatara, at an altitude of about 250 meters. with south-east exposure. This entails different and peculiar orographic and altimetric characteristics capable of generating grape qualities with distinctive and specific elements which, united in various proportions, give life to our wines.
