Ca' Rugate
AND THE CA' RUGATE WINE MUSEUM
Ca’ Rugate, takes its name from the volcanic hill located in the Soave Classico area in the province of Verona. For four generations, the Tessari family has managed the winery and the vineyards that are located in the Soave Classico area.
Between the Soave and Valpolicella areas, 60 hectors of vineyards of the indigenous white varieties Garganega e Trebbiano di Soave and red varieties Corvina, Rondinella e Corvinone grow.
The denominations produced are: Soave Classico, Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Amarone and the sweet wines Recioto di Soave and Recioto della Valpolicella.
Not to be missed is the Ca' Rugate Enomuseum, which exhibits more than 150 instruments and tools used by the Tessari family over the last 100 years of wine making.
