Gerardo Cesari

Founded in 1936 by Gerardo Cesari, the winery is now internationally recognized as an ambassador for great Veronese wines worldwide, and was among the first to export Amarone della Valpolicella to the United States, as early as 1973.

The beating heart of the winery is located in the Valpolicella Classica area, between the wineries of Fumane and Cavaion Veronese, and extends to the neighboring territories and the southern shores of Lake
Garda.

This is where our wines are born: the fruit of a genuine connection with the territory and a constant
will to enhance every nuance of its character. The modern and technologically advanced Fumane winery hosts the drying, vinification, and bottling processes.

In Cavaion Veronese, however, our wines mature slowly, developing complexity and elegance. The entire production process is under our direct control, from the vineyard to the bottle, to ensure stylistic consistency and consistent quality.

Since 2014, part of the Caviro Group, Cesari has embarked on a renewal process that culminated in 2024 in a new phase that marks a significant change of pace, with the goal of strengthening the quality of the technical project, redefining the company's image, and further enhancing its signature wines, such as Amarone, the undisputed star of our territory.
