The Roberto Mazzi Figli winery, already owned by the family since the early 1900s, has its headquarters in the hills of Negrar, one of the five municipalities in the classic area of Valpolicella. Roberto Mazzi, around the 60s, after completing his agricultural studies, began to bottle with the name of the winey Sanperetto, already dividing the production by the name of the vineyard since then.

The eight hectares of vineyards are located in the excellent hilly positions of Calcarole, Castel, Poiega, Sanperetto and Villa. Currently, the farm is run personally by his sons Stefano and Antonio with the oenological consultancy of his friend Paolo Caciorgna, which combining tradition and innovation produce about 50,000 bottles of Valpolicella Classico and Superiore, Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella Classico and Rosso Veronese igt.

The Mazzi winery welcomes groups for lunches or dinners at its “Antica Corte al Molino” Enoagriturismo, cooking the typical dishes of the area, including the well-known risotto with Amarone wine, paired with its wines.

The Mazzi family also offers guests the opportunity to stay at the farmhouse.
